Seneti Hingano’s Small Handicraft Store
The late Seneti Hingano was originally from the Tonga Islands in the South Pacific. She resided with her family in Sacramento, California, where she ran a small handicraft store. Seneti passed on in April 2023.
The first video will show you a display of Seneti’s beautiful handicraft. In the second video Seneti will give an introduction to South Pacific Islander handicraft (mats, fans, handbags, Hawaiian Lays, ceremonial baskets etc) with detailed hands-on instructions on how to wear the traditional Ta’ovala (worn around the waist).
